Simpson Hybrid Pro Lite FHR

Lightweight and low-profile FIA and SFI approved Hybrid Pro Lite head and neck restraint.

The Simpson Hybrid PRO Lite is the lightest head and neck restraint in the Hybrid series. The carbon fiber support structure weighs only 220 g. Thanks to modern carbon fiber materials and extremely precise engineering, the restraint feels almost weightless to the wearer. The new design provides excellent feel and control of the shoulder belts. Sliding tether straps allow freer head movement.

The advantage of Hybrid restraints compared to HANS devices is that they restrict the driver’s movement less during normal use, while still providing protection as effective as a HANS device in the event of an accident. The HANS device has a high profile behind the helmet, which can sometimes catch on roll cages or window nets when exiting the vehicle. This issue is eliminated with the Hybrid restraint.

The restraint can also be ordered with an M61 type quick release by selecting the anchor type M61 Quick Release Dual End Tether.
