Product details

Varley Red Top motorsport batteries have an excellent power-to-weight ratio. Combined with good impact resistance, vibration resistance and G-force resistance, they make the perfect lightweight race car battery. For these reasons, Varley Red Top batteries are used by Mitsubishi Motorsport and the Red Bull F1 team, for example. Varley Red Top is the most widely used race battery on the market.

Please note when choosing a battery that the manufacturer’s stated applications do not account very well for cold conditions. As temperature drops, battery cranking power decreases, and as engine oils become thicker, the required cranking current increases.
