The Alpinestars Radar is an FIA 8856-2018 approved co-driver and mechanic shoe. Racing shoes are designed around driving and pedal feel, but these matter less for the co-driver. That is why the Radar's thicker, grippier sole offers a comfortable alternative for co-driver duties. The Radar is also considerably warmer in winter than a normal racing shoe.
