The AP RACING Proportioning Valve is an essential component designed for use in competition vehicles. It functions to reduce hydraulic line pressure to the rear brakes, thereby allowing the driver to fine-tune the front-to-rear brake bias and prevent rear wheel lock-up.

  • Control: Lever type operation offers seven distinct positions for a wide variety of adjustments to the hydraulic brake pressure.
  • Reduction Range: With the lever in position 1 (maximum reduction), the rear brake pressure can be reduced by up to 1/3
  • Application: Used to reduce the braking effort of the rear brakes in racing applications
