DEI Onyx Series Turbo Shield/Blanket T6

The DEI Onyx turbo blanket is an important part when lowering engine bay temperatures in turbocharged cars and preventing heat-related damage, for example to bonnet paintwork or glass/carbon-fibre structures. The turbo blanket also improves performance by keeping the engine bay cooler and the turbine housing hotter, which improves turbo efficiency and reduces turbo lag. DEI Onyx turbo blankets are made from very high-quality heat protection fabrics. Stainless steel tie anchors are riveted to the blanket so it can be tightened securely in place, for example with wire.

See the product images for instructions on how to measure the circumference and width of your turbo. This DEI Onyx T6 turbo blanket is suitable for turbos with a circumference of approx. 66cm and width of approx. 9.5cm.

You can choose whether to order the DEI turbo blanket with an installation kit or as the blanket only.

When ordered with the installation kit, the package includes 4.5 metres of exhaust wrap, stainless steel cable ties and stainless steel wire. The installation kit also allows you to wrap the outlet/downpipe with insulating tape and secure it properly with steel cable ties. The wire is for securing the blanket. An excellent package for turbo heat management.
